WHAT OUR THERAPISTS SAY ABOUT WORKING AT J.Z. MANN PEDIATRIC THERAPY:

"I graduated from Northeastern State University in 2006 with a Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.  I spent 8 years providing services in the school systems before transitioning to J.Z. Mann full-time in October 2015.  Working at J.Z. Mann has been a very rewarding experience.  I have the opportunity to work with a diverse population with very diverse needs.  Since no two clients are the same, I am challenged creatively as well as staying well-informed of the new methodologies, techniques and tools used to meet the needs of all of my clients.  At J.Z. Mann, I have access to a coordinated team of therapists (SLPs, OTs, PTs) and the learning opportunities are endless.  However, the best part of my job is educating and empowering the parents.  Helping them help their child communicate is very gratifying and the reason why I do what I do."

Marri Wallace, MS, CCC-SLP (Northeastern State University, 2006)

“I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2008. I have worked in various pediatric settings to include outpatient rehab in a hospital, home health, and the public school system. I began working at J.Z. Mann in October 2017 after leaving the pediatric world for over a year. I am so glad to be back working with children and their families, and J.Z. Mann is an excellent place to not only do that but hone my skills and learn new techniques, methodologies, and tools to meet the needs of every individual I get the pleasure to work with. I love and value the support I get from co-workers who are eager to help troubleshoot through challenges for the betterment of not only the child but the family as well. Nothing is better to me than when a child makes a breakthrough in their communication and language skills!”

“I graduated from University of Memphis in 2016 with a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Since graduating, I have worked in a pediatric clinic and at a children’s hospital. I began working at J.Z. Mann Pediatric Therapy in February 2018 and have absolutely loved getting to know all of the wonderful children and their families! They continually inspire me to want to learn more and to become a better therapist. I love that I am provided with the opportunity to work with talented O.T.s and P.T.s, as well as other S.T.s, here at J.Z. Mann!”
